INTRODUCTION TO SPECIAL ITEMS
£1.00 - £1,000,000 !!

When we go out buying medals, coins, banknotes and militaria we see and are offered the most amazing range of other collectables. Therefore in this section of the MEDALS OF ENGLAND web site we aim to list some really 'off beat' items which we feel will have a special collector interest or a direct connection to all things military, mechanical, and historical. These are the items which in many cases are only seen in museums and other public collections and so are seldom available for sale. For years I have just loved "stuff" and have accumulated and constanly buy some really interesting bits and bobs which I would like to share with you here. Some of these are real "boys toys" type stuff which I know will seriously appeal to those of you who have always had an aquisitive nature. As an example some time ago we came across a selection of early British Motor Car Sales Catalogues from the late 1920's and early 1930's many of which are in full or partial colour. These are just "magic" items which I know many classic car enthusiasts would kill for as some of them own and display the early cars shown in the brochures. So , have a leaf through this section and see what you can find. ( **We have also just purchased a wonderful working scale model of a steam Traction Engine ( made circa 1929-32) which is listed on the "EARLY TOYS" button <----the second button down on the left.) Good Hunting !
