Shown on No.1Balloon Company Roll of July 1910 as "Dismounted Reservist". As an RFC Reservist he re-joined 5th August 1914 as 1AM with the Aircraft Park and served in France from 16th August 1914. Promoted to Flt Sgt ( Blacksmith) 1 November 1916 and was Chief Mechanic (Blacksmith) on RAF Roll 1918.
Medals practically MINT on original ribbons with contemporary slip on clasp.
Also a Ribbon bar with silver rose. Kent School medal for good attendance with 1906 & 1907 clasps. RFC hat badge is included.
