[BIOGRAPHY]
Thomas Brown was born in the Parish of Allsaints, Leicester in 1829. He enlisted into The Royal Artillery on 4th January 1847 at the age of 18years & 6months. He had been a Framework Printer. Only in trouble once when he was court marshalled in Leicester on 6th July 1887 for “using threats” and was sentenced to 1 month’s imprisonment with loss of pension while in custody. He was discharged on 22nd March 1870 at age 41years and 9months, being 5ft 7” tall with grey eyes and brown & grey hair with a fair complexion. He returned to reside in All Saints, Leicester.
