Wounded In Action, Cypherfontein 28/10/1900 KILLED IN ACTION, Cypherfontein 29/10/1900 An unlucky man with a highly unusual casualty profile being wounded on 28th October 1900 and then KILLED IN ACTION the very next day on 29th October 1900 with both events taking place near Cypherfontein Farm in the Cape.
Comparatively few men were killed in action during the Boer War with the vast majority dying of diseases such as enteric fever which was rife.
