He enlisted in London on 8th September 1912 and served from Portsmouth. He lived at 23 Leesland Lane, Gosport. His main ship of service was HMS HERCULES which played an active role in the BATTLE OF JUTLAND and he was in the ship from November 1915 to January 1919 He was married to Lilian May Warman at St John’s Church, Forton Road, Gosport in 1919. Harry gained his LSGC on 22nd October 1930. He was invalided out of the service in 1934 having served 22 years...He died on 4th September 1936 aged just 37. About 98% of all the Jutland groups you will see are basic Royal Navy 1914-15 Trios without an LSGC. This is a Very Scarce & Highly Desirable Royal Marines Light Infantry “Battle of Jutland” trio with a Rare R.M. Long Service Medal.
