The Silver “St Jean D'Acre" medal, was awarded for the bombardment of Acre, Syria in 1840.

Timothy Clinch was the son of an early and well known Royal Navy Captain of the same name who served in Nelson’s Navy.

Both medals are ‘seriously superb specimen level examples’ and are in “Gem Mint State” both have the most magical and matching original multi-coloured toning over prooflike surfaces.
