A superb and sleepy old trio to a long service Royal Marine.
GEORGE PRYOR was born in Hertfordshire on 9th November 1840 and previoulsy being a labourer he enlisted into the Royal Marines (Plymouth Div) on 9th November 1865 (age 25). 5ft 3,3/4 inches tall with brown eyes, hair and dark complexion, he served on various ships including, HMS ZEALOUS, (1869) HMS SPARROW HAWK (1871) HMS SCOUT (1873) HMS FOX HOUND (1879) and HMS INDUS (1882)
He received his L.S.G.C. medal on 16th February 1877 (engraved)
and his Egypt Medal and Khedives Star in April 1883.
