Born on 1^st December 1918, George Sydney Vale was a classic professional sailor who joined the Royal Navy on his 18^th birthday on 1^st December 1936. He served throughout WWII as a telegrapher and continued his service in this position for exactly 22 years right up until his retirement on 1^st December 1958. He lived in Chingford. Group comes complete with a small passport photo and his full RN service records, WT sheets and personal references. A marvellous group.
