A Highly Unusual WW1 & WW2 joint service 'Army / RAF' group of 7.
To:
32752 & 6191760 Pte. E.R. MOSCATT. The Queen's Regiment,
&
R.A.F. & AUXILIARY AIR FORCE.
Ernest Richard MOSCATT clearly joined the army fairly late in WW1 and after serving with The Queen's Regiment he was thus still of an age where he was fit for further military service. He is seen enlisting into the RAF in December 1925 as 843761.
His Air Efficiency Award is named to him in the Auxiliary Air Force as a Leading Aircraftsman.
A very unusual, possibly unique combination.
Worthy of much further research.
