This is a really clean example of one of the most illusive items in early flying kit. Getting almost as difficult to find as the Battle of Britain "FRONT" type 1940 life vests. The jacket has a little staining where the dye pack was once stored but other than that this is a laundry fresh item. No tools or mirrors left in this one but it does still have both its bladders and cushioning and all the tie tapes and the chrome oxygen cylinder operation lever. Original bladders and cushions are all stamped up with their AM stores identification references. Last checked out in 1944. The vest still inflates via the rubber top up tube which is still complete with its 'no return' end valve.
A GREAT RE-ENACTOR ITEM AND VERY SCARCE THIS NICE.
