Another nice set of R.A.F. FLYING GOGGLES (MkIVB) 1940
´WITH RARE SUN SHIELD´
Battle of Britain´Type.
After another 'dig out' of the stock boxes we have located another pair of MkIV's complete with Sun 'Flip' Shield .
These are a lovely original pair with almost 'mint' paint and leather and show only the clear "bulls eye" type delamination. Hardly been worn and the entire ensemble is very fresh . The pads of course are hard as usual but all are complete and present. The 'flip sun shield is also excellent, but has had one of its mini nuts and bolts replaced with a "civilian fix" and needs a proper sized replacement. Nice clear and crisp leather stamping with 22/C stores reference etc.
All over a super pair fit for the best collection.
