A very nice and totally original
WWI GERMAN STEEL HELMET. (1916)
(Repatriated from France Circa 1917)
The helmet has all its original Green-Grey /Brown field applied camoflage.
Also all of its original leather suspension lining is present except for the central "leather bootlace" that joins up the leather suspension tabs.
All the original cushion pads are present. Metal work all original and complete except for one missing band rivet from the rear position. One or two totally period "dents" in the shell.
This lovely helmet has been in my private collection for a long time. 
Buyer will be delighted with this item.
All this needs is a rear rivet and a chin strap to be 100% complete.
