An interesting and somewhat later badge with the scarcer inset /close over pin mountings and a not seen before 'Gold' washed pin.
The original silvering is still present on the winged bomb devise but as is normal with this later base metal issue
the silvering, although still partly visible has been absorbed by the more base metal upon which it was applied.
