"LEICESTER YEOMANRY" 1914 Star & Bar Trio & Defence Medal
with Special Constabulary medal & "Long Service 1941" clasp.

2102 Albert Hannam joined the Leicester Yeomanry on 6th August 1914 and proceeded to France on 2nd November 1914 and luckily survived the Battle of FREZENBERG in which the unit sustained many casualties. After WW1 & during the interwar period & WW2 Albert HANNAM was a member of the special police constabulary. He qualified for the Long Service 1941 clasp. He resided latterly in South Cheriton, Templecombe, Devon.
This is the only group of medals to this unit we've handled in just over 40 years. All the medals are in stunning & 'pristine' mint condition & are on original ribbons. A very rare & seriously lovely group.
