Henry Hubery was a native of Burnley Lancashire who enlisted at Bishop Auckland on 9th November 1914 as part of Kitchener's New Army. He was the  son of William and Celia Hubery of Eldon and the husband of Ann Hubery of 8 West Row, ERldon, Bishop Auckland. He left a wife and four children. 

Henry Hubery is buried at:

 Plot 1.A.64. NORFOLK CEMETERY, BECORDEL-BECOURT.FRANCE. 

Included with this group are photo copies of his attestation papers and much War Office correspondence with his widow relating to the widow's war pension (of 25/--- "£1.25pence") which she received weekly from the Army Board.
