Henry Heap Warburton came from Accrington Lancashire and was the much loved son of Mr and Mrs J.W. WARBURTON of 62, AVENUE PARADE, ACCRINGTON. He died on The Somme on 9th September 1916, aged 20, while fighting with the 7th Battalion Lancashire Fusiliers,Machine Gun Corps (Infantry) att, 48th Coy.

Henry Warburton's family address still exists in Accrington, so perhaps members of the Warburton family still live there and would like to know about this medal.
