An interesting group to a long serving soldier in no less than four different units from the Boer War through The Great War.
Holtham arrived in France on 1st- 4th March 1915 with the 1/4th or 1/5th Lincolns. His medals are intersting as his original star was clearly impressed to the RFA and returned for re-issue to reflect his correct and clearly proud service with the Lincolns at the outset of The Great War....MIC confirms.
