Robert Burnett died on the 18th February 1855 probably due to dysentery or the results of wounding at the Battle of Inkermann. As with many casualties Burnett is not on the official casualty roll but is listed as 'died' on the Sebastopol clasp roll.

An excellent medal to one of THE most desirable units in the entire British army. The medal is in about EF condition with it's original 'watered' silk and cotton ribbon.
