Un-Named as issued.A Highly Unusual Combination to a senior army surgeon.
Most of the British army were heavily engaged in South Africa when the Ashanti actions took place, so in consequence this is a seriously scarce and unusual combination.
Major George Blake HICKSON was an Irishman who was born in Tralee in 1849. He latterly resided in London at Overstrand Mansions at Battersea. He died on 20th March 1919.All medals are practically 'Mint State' on original ribbons.
