Comes with Commanding Officer’s post service /discharge reference and final Discharge Certificate (Army Form B.2079) of 25th June 1915.

1st Battalion West Yorks Battalion arrived in France on 10th September 1914 and were engaged later in the Battle of Neuve Chapelle, where L/Cpl was almost certainly wounded. He was discharged some weeks later on 25th June 1915 as, “No longer physically fit for war service” at Whitely Bay.........Original Ribbons.          EF + £645.00
