Comes with Commanding Officer’s post service /discharge reference and final Discharge Certificate (Army Form B.2079) of 25^th June 1915.

1st Battalion West Yorks Battalion arrived in France on 10^th September 1914 and were engaged later in the Battle of Neuve Chapelle, where L/Cpl was almost certainly wounded. He was discharged some weeks later on 25^th June 1915 as, “No longer physically fit for war service” at Whitely Bay.........Original Ribbons.          EF + £645.00
