ARTHUR FREEMAN was 33 years old when he died. He was a pre-war regular soldier. and classic 'Old Contemptible' who arrived in France on 22nd August 1914. He was the son of the late Henry Freeman of 49, HOLLAND ST, BRIXTON, LONDON and the husband of MARGARET ALLISON FREEMAN of 3, BACK SUTTON STREET, DURHAM CITY."Arthur is commemorated with eternal honour on the HOLLYBROOK MEMORIAL, SOUTHAMPTON, PANEL 6"ALL MEDALS ARE "MINT STATE " on original ribbons.Also included is a WW1 Royal Field Artillery hat badge,the three original issue boxes and the War Medal Issue Letter £495
