[BIOGRAPHY]
Simpson Boyle Yuille was born at Irvine near Glasgow in 1893 and was the Son of James and Agnes Yuille, of 325, North Woodside Rd., Glasgow. He arrived in France on 23rd January 1915 and served for just over two years before being lost in the spring of 1917.

The 2nd Battle of Bullecourt was the scene of very fierce fighting from the 3rd to the 17th May 1917 where British troops fought along side Australian forces. The Australians lost 7,000 men at Bullecourt for only the capture of a small section of the Hindenburg Line.

Simpson B.Yuille is buried at Cemetery, Ecoust-St.Mein, France.
