An interesting and enigmatic group with ongoing research.
This trio is to a man who (according to family) was severely wounded in France in the early part of the war (Mons Retreat or later) and invalided back home to England.
His medals are mint and have certainly never been worn nor have the ribbons been fitted. Accompanying the medals are what we believe to be the original Christmas box awarded this man which containes the postcard of the King and Queen and the small Mary card for 1914. Also there is a burial card for the East London Cemetery (Plaistow) Essex showing a reference of "Grave Number 10856" This cemetery does indeed have a military section of WWI burials but Brickwood is not listed among them on the CWG site.
IF YOU KNOW WHO IS BURIED IN PLOT 10856 IN THIS CEMETERY MAYBE YOU COULD CALL US.... Thanks .......!!
! RESEARCH CONTINUES !
