Another very young and sad casualty in the closing stages of The Great War .
Sam Henederson who was from Sowerby Bridge, near Halifax died on 20th October just 22 days before the end of hostilities.

The pair & plaque come housed in a very nice frame with an internal tablet which has been inscribed with Sam's details.

The collector who originally bought this group has done some totally wonderful research and has produced an exceptional and large folder of photos and documentation. This includes many emotive pictures including a shot of his home and the very road Sam walked down to join up.
Sam is remembered with honour at Etaples Military Cemetery.
