AN INCREDIBLY RARE "GENERAL SERVICE MEDAL 1962-2007"
Single Clasp "LEBANON"
To:
24470196. LCPL. A. BEALE. R.SIGNALS. Only 700 clasps issued, and rarely ever seen.
A "Must Have" Medal of the Highest Rarity.[MARKET DESCRIPTION] The single clasp LEBANON G.S.M. is a classic rarity in the QEII
medal series. About 95% of this tiny issue of clasps were awarded to men who already held the Northern Ireland G.S.M.
Thus, 'single LEBANON clasp' medals are ultra rare.
Only 45 clasps were issued to members of the Royal Corps of Signals (6 officers & 39 men) and as such they are practically unknown.
Issued in 1985, we've never ever seen or had another one in stock at any time.
In February 2018 D.N.W. sold a single LEBANON clasp medal to the 16/5 Lancers (63 clasps) at £2,800
(Their estimate of £600-£700 was based on the totally inaccurate book price of £800).This ultra rare and frankly unobtainable medal is offered on a strictly first come first served basis.
You will probably never see another one ...and certainly not at this price level. The medal is EF & still on its original ribbon & pin. Superb !
