The Two Russell Brothers were both casualties. Ernest Edward Russell Died of Wounds received on 1st JULY 1916 with the 1st/7th Bn Notts & Derby Regt. (Robin Hoods). Sydney Russell was K.I.A. on 20th July 1918 with 2nd/4th West Riding Regt. THIS IS PERHAPS THE FINEST & MOST COMPLETE ASSEMBLY OF ITS TYPE EXTANT. It contains just about everything that was ever sent to the family of these two Nottingham lads, including over 75 letters from the front written by Ernest & Sydney.
