An Emotive, Large and Historically Important "Brothers" grouping of two 1914-15 Trios to: 11378. Pte Arthur Chalmers Wilts Regt and his brother 17805 Dvr. Benjamin Chalmers (25th Ammunition Column) R.F.A. Arthur had a quite normal war in the WILTSHIRE Regt and survived to tell the tale, but Benjamin's Pre-War Merchant Navy and WW1 service was highly coloured and ultimately fatal. This assembly contains some of the most complete documentation imaginable and fills a small shoe box. A real "must have" for a social historian or casualty collector.

Harris was severley wounded early in the war and is entitled to a Silver War Badge. A good research project. Came from Nottingham. Also includes his brother's Victory Medal to Notts & Derby Rgt & M.G.C.
